Leading the Way
Here, Jesus points the fishermen to steer the boat around the edge of the storm. I feel, He sometimes needs us to feel the full force of the storm, so we have no choice but to rely on Him. He will only expose us to what we are able to cope with at that moment and, therefore, will always be there to guide us through the uncomfortable times.
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and He guided them to their desired haven. Psalm 107:28-30
